Disc-O

About the Game

Disc-O is a skill and strategy turn-based game that mixes the fun of Shuffleboard and Air Hockey. Your goal is to flick discs into the target area to score points, or to knock your opponent's disc out to lower their score.

The Board

The board is divided into 2 target areas in the center and 2 launching areas, one per player, at the top and bottom sides. The target areas are pink and blue, which are the colors assigned to each player.

If the bonus zone is enabled when the game is created, a round bonus zone is added to the board, which is shared by both players.

The Discs

There are 3 types of discs: large, medium, and small. The larger the disc, the heavier it is. Take this into account when you are trying to push other discs.

The discs are the same color as the player's color and the target area they need to be in to score points.

Each player can launch 8 discs. In the launching area of each player, there is a preview of the disc they are going to launch. Use it to see the amount and type of the remaining discs.

Gameflow

Once the game starts, each player has to launch a disc in alternating turns until all the discs are launched.

If a disc stops in its scoring area, it scores 1 point. If the disc stops in the bonus area, that point is multiplied by the value shown in that bonus area.

If a disc is pushed out of its scoring area or the bonus area, its points are removed from the score.

If a disc is out of the scoring areas, it is removed from the board.

No matter whose turn it is, all the players can score or lose points every turn.

The player with more points when all of the discs are launched wins.
